You’re a Perfect Match If You Have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
10+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
Experience building healthcare solutions.
Strong expertise in architecting solutions and hands-on execution in complex, fast-paced environments.
A proven track record of cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience building and managing cross-functional, distributed engineering teams across multiple locations.
Experience managing through Team Leads and/or Engineering Managers.
Technical Proficiency:
Experience working with microservices architectures.
Preferred experience with programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, and Go.
Strong understanding of system design and data structures, with experience in both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
Experience working with RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms.
Experience working with public cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

Your day-to-day activities:

Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
People & Performance Management: Define team structures, set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and drive talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention efforts.
Strategic & Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and business leaders to align engineering priorities with company objectives, ensuring seamless execution of key initiatives.
Engineering Execution & Operational Excellence: Ensure teams have the support, processes, and tools needed for efficient execution, while continuously improving software development practices for scalability and quality.
Technical Leadership & Innovation: Leverage deep technical expertise to guide teams in implementing scalable, high-quality solutions while driving innovation and best practices.
Risk Management & Problem Solving: Proactively remove roadblocks, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks to keep projects on track and maintain operational efficiency.
Culture of Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Foster an environment of continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, and technical excellence to enhance collaboration and drive long-term success.
