You Perfectly Match If you have:

5+ years of commercial experience in DevOps
Strong self-management and time-management skills
Proficient in spoken and written English
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices
Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, Kinesis) and Azure (Application Gateway, Firewall, EventHub, Blob Storage)
Proficiency in source control (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket)
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Strong background in database administration (Azure SQL Server, Redis, DynamoDB)
Experience with infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform, CDK)
Familiarity with container concepts and orchestration (Docker, Amazon ECS, Kubernetes)Knowledge of security components, including firewalls, virtual networks, and access controls

Your day-to-day activities:

Production Support & Incident Management: Triage and resolve production incidents, investigate failures in background jobs, and address infrastructure-related issues.
Infrastructure Management & Optimization: Maintain and improve Azure infrastructure, implement necessary changes or migrations, and focus on making cloud infrastructure more efficient and cost-effective.
Collaboration & Cross-Team Support: Work closely with platform and feature teams to support development, assist in deployment strategies and infrastructure decisions, and ensure best practices are followed rather than ad-hoc deployments.
Automation & Development: Contribute to internal development tasks, including streamlining CI/CD pipelines and automating deployment processes.
Long-Term Strategy & Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings and continuous improvement, even if not immediately required by finance, and enhance DevOps practices and platform stability over time
